SAA event in City of Belgrade, Surcin area, Serbia on Sat 29th August 2026

A 45-year-old man was shot and killed with an automatic firearm (Heckler) by an unidentified man. The perpetrator approached the victim on a bicycle as he was exiting his vehicle and shot him once in the head before fleeing the scene. The victim was previously known to the police in connection with armed robberies, drug-related crime and a prior domestic violence case involving firearm use. A 20-year-old man was arrested several days later, while a 23-year-old suspected accomplice was arrested in Šabac. Police also reported that a GPS tracking device had been placed under the victim’s vehicle prior to the killing. Police are searching for a third suspect.
