, in coordination with the Attorney General's Office and the Michoacán State Police, conducted an operation in Tocumbo, where members of a criminal group attacked military personnel with gunfire. In repelling the attack, two aggressors lost their lives, including Luis Enrique “N”, alias “El Güicho” or “R5”, identified as the leader of the Cártel de Los Reyes and the main coordinator of the extortions against avocado producers in the region. Additionally, he was subject to a provisional arrest warrant for the purpose of extradition to the United States, and the State Department of that country was offering a reward of three million dollars for information leading to his arrest for drug and arms trafficking to Mexico.
