On 26 August 2026, at night and during the day, Russian forces carried out air, drone and artillery strikes at the residential area in Nikopol city, Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result, a 71-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man were killed. Also, a 26-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man were injured and both receiving outpatient treatment. Moreover, a high-rise building, a private house, and a car were damaged across the Pokrovska, Chervonohryhorivska, Myrivska, Pershotravnenska and Marhanetska communities, as well as Nikopol city (coded to Nikopol city).
