On 26 August 2026, at around 05:00am, a Russian Shahed/Geran-4 (jet-powered) struck the residential area in Chernihiv, Chernihiv. As a result, a 39-year-old woman and her 4-year-old girl were killed on the spot and her another 14-year-old daughter received burns and was admitted to a hospital, their private house was destroyed. At around 11:30am, a second Russian Shahed/Geran-4 struck the warehouse on the same address, injuring 4 more civilians (employees) and 1 more had an acute stress reaction. Overall, as a result of two drone strikes, the utility rooms, a shop, a warehouse, outbuildings, and several private houses were damaged.
