Police on September 12 arrested three activists of Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) from the Boalia upazila (sub-District) in Rajshahi District, reports Dhaka Tribune. The arrested as Mohamad Rabiul Sheikh (40), Parvez (22) and Habib (27). “The house of one Rabiul was raided on a tip-off that a Zoom meeting was being held to plot terror attacks,” Boalia Police OC Nibaran Chandra Barman told. A huge amount of jihadi literarure, banners, cash registers, communication devices and locally-made weapons were recoved during the raid.
