UAV event in Ukraine on Mon 24th August 2026

On 24 August 2026, according to Russian sources, Ukrainian forces carried out drone strikes at the building of the regional branch of the 'United Russia' party in the Russian-held Melitopol city, Zaporizhia. As a result, the premises were damaged. No casualties. In a separate event, a Ukrainian drone struck a gas station that resulted in a fire. Firefighters from a specialized fire and rescue unit quickly arrived on the scene and began extinguishing the fire. During the firefighting effort, a second drone struck the emergency brigade, injuring 2 employees. In one more event, a Ukrainian drone struck a household appliance store, injuring a teenager born in 2009 and a man born in 1995, who were admitted to a hospital.
