On September 4, a Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) militant identified as Heisnam Nungshiba alias Nanao Meitei was arrested from Mayang Imphal Kokchai Awang Leikai in Imphal West District of Manipur, reports The Sangai Express. Two Chinese hand grenades and two detonators were recovered from the arrestee. The arrested militant, Heisnam Nungshiba, had joined KCP in 2017 and was presently working under the command of self-style ‘major’ Lemba who is at present staying in Myanmar.
