On 28 August 2026, an explosive device planted by unidentified armed persons detonated near a canal in Damadola area (Bajaur, KPK), injuring two schoolchildren while they were travelling to school. The nature and cause of the explosive device remains unclear. Total 2 injured and no fatalities.
