Air Delivered event in Palestine on Fri 28th August 2026

On 28 August 2026, Israeli forces launched an airstrike targeting 3 Palestinian militants in Jenin - Hursh as Sa'ada (Jenin, West Bank) while they were standing outside a building, killing them. One was a Hamas militant and the two others were Katibat Jenin (PIJ) militants. Hamas condemned the strike but did not claim any of their militants were killed. The PIJ stated that one of the militants killed was a senior operative in their armed wing, while others claimed he was senior Hamas operative. Following the strike, the Israeli Defense minister claimed that the camp has ' been emptied of its residents and conquered by the IDF, and cleared of terrorists and terror infrastructure', claiming that the IDF presence in the area is permanent. Israeli forces also briefly detained PRCS paramedics that were responding to the strike, and seized their equipment.
