On 27 August 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes in Al Mojamaa Al Dini neighborhood in Aarab Salim town (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh). One of the missiles did not explode. 1 individual was killed and six others were injured. The Israeli army stated it launched these airstrikes in response to two booby-trapped drones launched by Hezbollah against its forces in southern Lebanon. The attacks targeted sites used to store Hezbollah weapons.
