On 23 August 2026, in the municipality of Concordia, Sinaloa, at night, armed men threw homemade explosives at a beer store on the Mexico 40 road (known as the Libre Mazatlan-Matamoros road). An alternative version indicated that the explosives were launched by drones. The explosions injured six workers, one of whom later died from his injures. 1 fatality.
