On 25 August 2026, at around 1:30 am, ENDF conducted a drone strike (likely targeting TDF military vehicles and heavy weaponry, as sources said TDF military vehicles and heavy weaponry had previously been positioned near the camp) in the former Sur Construction camp in Beliga, also known as Mebrahtom Village, Felege Weyni, Atsbi (Eastern Tigray, Tigray). These assets had been removed from the area on an unspecified date before the drone strike. The strike damaged the camp. There were no casualties. The TPLF-led administration stated that unexploded ordnance remained in the area following the strike and advised residents to exercise caution and to keep children and livestock away from the affected area until qualified personnel could neutralize the remaining unexploded ordnance.
