Around 28 August 2026 (as reported), in Balastrol (Suarez, Cauca), unidentified individuals launched an explosive device from a drone that detonated outside a pool hall, injuring seven people, among them three minors. Authorities stated that some of the injured victims were members of the FARC dissident Jaime Martinez front. The victims were taken to hospital. The perpetrators behind the attack are unknown. There were no fatalities.
