On 23 August 2026, in El Roblal (Briceno, Antioquia), a military officer was killed and four other were injured after stepping on a landmine during a landmine clearance operation in rural areas of the municipality. The artifact was suspectedly planted by Gulf Clan members and the device was remotely activated during the officers operation. The area is known for the presence of Gulf Clan and FARC dissident armed groups. 1 fatality.
