Karenni joint revolutionary forces recaptured a military hill outpost in Loikaw Township, Karenni State, while intense fighting continues in the Mobye area, a Karenni revolutionary source told Yangon Khit Thit News.

On August 26, Karenni joint revolutionary forces attacked and captured a military outpost stationed on a hill east of Lwei Htwe Pa-O village, east of Loikaw town. Junta troops suffered casualties and abandoned the position, allowing revolutionary forces to seize the outpost along with weapons and ammunition.
