KIA-led joint forces ambushed a terrorist military convoy on the Tanai-Ledo road in Kachin State, causing casualties among junta soldiers, a KIA military source told Yangon Khit Thit News.

On the early morning of August 25, Kachin Independence Army (KIA) Battalion 43 and joint revolutionary forces carried out ambushes on the military convoy at two separate locations.

The terrorist military convoy was traveling toward Tanai town when KIA-led joint forces engaged them near San Pya village and within the operational area of KIA Battalion 43.
