The terrorist military launched continuous airstrikes near the Wae Tu oil field region in western Myaing Township, Magway Region, while air-dropping ammunition and supplies, according to Saya Htwe from the Anyar Mye Civil Society Organization (Myaing) and local residents speaking to Yangon Khit Thit News.

Today, August 23, from approximately 11:33 AM to 11:54 AM, an Mi-35 attack helicopter taking off from Nyaung-U Airport carried out two aerial attacks near the Wae Tu oil field area.

Although no local casualties or property damage were reported in the attack, local residents were forced to flee to safety.
