A shopping center in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv came under attack by the Russian army on the morning of August 28.

This was announced by the city mayor Igor Terekhov.

"The enemy attacked a shopping center in the Kyiv district. We are investigating the details," Terekhov wrote.

According to Bohdan Hladkykh, director of the city's emergency department, there was a fire at the scene of the crash. No people were injured.

At around 12:30, a fire in a shopping center in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv was extinguished, Yevhen Vasylenko, spokesman for the Kharkiv Region State Emergency Service, told the Public. According to him, commercial equipment was burning on an area of 150 sq. m.

Suspilny correspondents heard the explosion at 10:50 a.m. The Air Force warned of a jet UAV heading towards the city from the east. The air alert for Kharkiv has been in effect since 08:32.
