Two jet fighters under the terrorist army launched airstrikes targeting Yin Hkat Kone village and forest monasteries housing displaced people between Yin Hkat Kone and Tha Pyae Tha villages in Zi Kone region, Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region, according to local news sources.

Yesterday around 5:00 PM, a jet fighter taking off from Tada-U Base bombed Yin Hkat Kone village.

A second jet fighter bombed displaced person camps located at Bodhi Monastery and Shauk Kan Monastery near Tha Pyae Tha village.

During the airstrike incident, a displaced person named Zaw Naing Win died on the spot, and a Buddhist monk named U Tilawka passed away.
