A clash broke out along the Ayeyarwady riverfront on the Nganzun-Tada-U road with a three-vehicle military convoy carrying 70 personnel traveling from Myingyan Town to Simikhone Town in Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, followed by a second engagement with reinforcing troops, Myingyan District Battalion No. 9 - Myingyan Black Tiger reported tonight.

Revolutionary comrades ambushed three vehicles under the terrorist army around 7:30 AM on August 10 while they were passing along the Nganzun-Tada-U road en route from Myingyan Township to Simikhone Town.

Reinforcements comprising a seven-vehicle military convoy dispatched from Nganzun Township engaged in a 30-minute battle with resistance forces, according to the statement by Myingyan District Battalion No. 9.

Across both engagements, 14 personnel from the terrorist army were killed and injured, and the dead soldiers were loaded onto a 4-ton truck and transported back to Nganzun Town, Myingyan District Battalion No. 9 stated.
