On 28 August 2021, an IED placed in a trash dump detonated, near the Xudur airstrip in Hudur town (Xudur, Bakool). A commercial aircraft was on the ground during the explosion. No casualties were reported from the blast. The local security forces arrested three suspects in connection with the incident.
