On 17 August 2026, Russian Forces launched a combined attack using cruise missiles and jet-powered drones at the Odesa region (coded to Izmail, Odesa), damaging a civilian Togo-flagged vessel, a patrol boat, fuel storage tanks, destroying a residential building and damaging other residential buildings. 9 civilians, including a two boys aged 16, two women aged 43 and 48, and a man aged 65, were injured in the region.
