On 16 August 2026, IRG forces targeted Houthi forces and positions with drones, artillery and multiple rocket launchers on a number of fronts, including Tur Al Bahah district front (coded to district center Tawr al Bahah) (Lahij). This resulted in dozens of Houthi fatalities and injuries, and the destruction of dozens of Houthi armored vehicles and equipment and a number of weapons depots and military means. The attacks took place in Abyan, Ad Dali, Al Hudaydah, Shabwah, Lahij, Taizz and Al Jawf governorates.
