On 19 August 2026, in Salin town (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), the drone team of the People's Defense Force - Minbu District Battalion-5 conducted drone strikes and dropped a 60mm bomb on a checkpoint of the joint force of the Myanmar military, the police forces and the Pyu Saw Htee near the Wet Thea lake at around 6:00 pm. 4 members of the Pyu Saw Htee were killed and 3 others were injured. 4 fatalities.
