On 20 August 2026, in Ngape township (Minbu district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes after its troops retreated from four outposts, including Goke Gyi and Pa Zi outposts, following an armed clash with the Arakan Army (ULA/AA) on 19 August (coded separately). The Myanmar military in Son Kone village also fired heavy weapons. Casualties unknown.
