On 17 August 2026, in Man Si village (coded as Man Si Lay) (Pinlebu township, Kawlin district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike and dropped bombs on the village hospital around 2:00 pm. The airstrike destroyed the hospital though the patients receiving medical treatment were successfully evacuated in time after conducting a reconnaissance flight by the Myanmar military. There were no casualties.
