Shopping centre near Dnipro burns down in Russian attack – photos.

Russian forces destroyed a shopping and entertainment centre in the village of Slobozhanske, on the northern outskirts of the city of Dnipro, on the night of 24-25 August.

Details: A fire broke out both inside the building and in the area surrounding the shopping centre. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, but the building sustained significant damage.

A lorry and the interior of the shopping and entertainment centre were also damaged.

There have been no reports of casualties.

Update: During the day, it became known that Karavan, the largest shopping and entertainment centre on the left bank of the city of Dnipro, was damaged.

According to a statement by the shopping centre's press service, it has temporarily suspended operations following the Russian attack.

"We are currently assessing the technical condition of the building. The safety of our visitors and team comes first," the statement said.

Background: Russian forces attacked the Vynohradivka road border crossing on the Moldovan border with a Shahed drone. The crossing is currently closed, and travellers are being redirected to other checkpoints.
