Russian forces strike Mena in Chernihiv region, injuring 12, including children.
Russian forces struck the center of the town of Mena in the Chernihiv region’s Koriukivka district in the evening of August 24, injuring 12 people, including four children.
According to Ukrinform, the National Police reported this on Facebook.
The attack damaged administrative buildings, residential houses, shops and vehicles in the town.
Police officers are documenting the aftermath of the attack, recording the damage and collecting evidence of yet another Russian war crime.
As reported, Russian forces attacked the Koriukivka district of the Chernihiv region since the evening of August 24 and throughout the night, triggering a number of fires. At one of the enterprises, the fire spread across more than 3,000 square meters.
