Two tribal elders, identified as Haji Gul and Malik Badshah, were shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Zarmilan area of Toi Khulla tehsil (revenue unit) of South Waziristan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on August 9, reports Dawn. South Waziristan District Police Officer (DPO) Shah Hassan said that the victims were travelling in a car from the Gul Kach area towards the Zarmilan area when unidentified assailants opened fire on their vehicle at Darozanda. The assailants fled the area after the shooting. Tribal elders Haji Gul and Malik Badshah belonged to the Suleman Khel tribe.
