Unidentified armed assailants reportedly destroyed two electricity transmission towers near Piro Pul, close to the Mir Hassan area of Naseerabad District, Balochistan, reports Zrumbesh English on August 9. According to local sources, explosives were used to target the towers, which formed part of a transmission line carrying electricity from the Uch Power Plant to Punjab. Two towers reportedly collapsed following the explosion, while two others sustained severe damage. No casualties were reported. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
