On August 9, a joint team of the 8 Bihar Regiment and Thoubal Dam Police Station (PS) recovered arms, ammunition and communication equipment during an operation at Maphou Kuki Village in Thoubal District, Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. The recovery included two No. 36 Highly Explosive (HE) hand grenades, one stun grenade, one 7.65mm pistol with magazine, four live rounds of 7.65mm ammunition, one fired 7.65mm cartridge case and one walkie-talkie with charger. No arrests were reported in connection with the recovery.
