On August 9, Ward Jubo Dal (affiliated with Bangladesh Nationalist Party) President Mohammad Sohel (35) of Begumganj Upazila (Sub-District) of Noakhali District was shot and injured in Rasulpur village of Ward No. 8 of Gopalpur Union No. 2 in Noakhali District, reports Prothom Alo. The Jubo Dal blamed the leaders and activists of the local Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) for the incident. ICS, however, denied the allegations.|
