Fitna-al-Khawarij [FaK, a State term for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)] terrorists shot dead a tribal elder identified as Malik Zahoor Ahmed inside his residence in the Salarzai area of Bajaur District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports Khyber Chronicles reports on August 8. According to Police, the attackers opened fire on Ahmed, who succumbed to his injuries. Local sources said six young members of Ahmed’s family had previously been killed by terrorists. Following the incident, Police and Security Forces (SFs) cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the attackers and determine their escape route.
