On August 16, two active operatives of Dawlatul Islam, identified as Jewel Bhuiyan and Arif Chowdhury, were arrested in Sarulia area of ??Demra in Dhaka with explosives to disrupt public security and carry out sabotage activities, reports Prothom Alo. Two live bombs were recovered from them. Inspired by the ideology of Dawlatul Islam, the arrested individuals gathered at the scene with the intention of disrupting public security, destabilising the country, and planning sabotage and terrorist activities.
