On August 15, a young man named Jasim (24) was shot and injured in an exchange of fire after he opened fire on Police during an anti-drug operation in front of Urban School next to Isdair Railway Station in Fatullah in Narayanganj District, reports Prothom Alo. Three Police personnel were injured in the operation (identities not revealed yet). Additionally, Police arrested two people, including Jasim, who was shot in the incident, and Mohan (23). A foreign pistol with a magazine was seized from them. The two arrestees are drug dealers and arms dealers, according to the Police.
