On August 14, unidentified armed men, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, targeted Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel in the Daghari area of Quetta District of Balochistan, reports Zrumbesh. Local residents said the attack continued for a considerable period of time and the CTD personnel suffered heavy casualties in the attack (exact numbers not revealed yet). No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
