Muktsar Police on August 14 arrested two alleged sharpshooters, identified as Nigam alias Deva and Ravinder alias Binder, in connection with an extortion-related firing incident in Malout, Sri Muktsar Sahib District, on July 22, reports The Tribune. The duo allegedly fired at a house in Star City Colony. Police suspect the attack was orchestrated by Gurjant Singh alias Janta of Kharar, who is currently based in Australia. Both arrested men have previously faced multiple cases involving the Arms Act, snatching and theft in Haryana and Rajasthan.|
