On August 13, a main gas transmission pipeline of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) was targeted in an explosion, resulting in the suspension of gas supplies to several cities and surrounding areas (Quetta, Kolpur, Mach, Mastung, Kalat, Pishin and Ziarat), in Bolan District of Balochistan, reports The Khyber Chronicles. Later, the spokesperson of the United Baloch Army (UBA), Mazzar Baloch, claimed responsibility for the attack.
