Shahbaz Khan Faizi, a former local uprising commander during the previous government, was killed in Khara Sang village in Dahan Laka Sang area of Dolina District in Ghor Province, Hasht-e Subh reports on August 11. Faizi was the brother of Mawlavi Mohammad Hashim Faizi, a former member of the Ghor Provincial Council. He was shot by armed individuals while leaving a mosque and was killed.
