A customs personnel was killed while two other personnel were injured after unidentified assailants opened fire on a vehicle along the Indus Highway in Kohat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 24, reports The Khyber Chronicles. The incident occurred while customs personnel were carrying out routine checking duties on the highway. Police stated that unidentified assailants targeted the vehicle with gunfire, resulting in a fire that broke out inside the vehicle following the attack. The slain customs personnel was identified as Yasir Shah.
