On August 20, a joint team of Moreh Police Station and 36 Assam Rifles, acting on specific inputs, recovered a concealed cache of arms and ammunition from a forested area near Border Pillar (BP) 73 under Moreh Police Station in Tengnoupal District of Manipur, along the Indo-Myanmar border reports Manipur Police on X. The seizure included one M15 rifle with magazine, one MA G3 rifle with magazine, one country-made pistol, six single-barrel guns, two country-made rifles, one .22 rifle, 10 radio sets, five drone bombs, five improvised explosive devices (IEDs), one tear gas gun, 17 tear gas ammunition rounds, two grenades, two bulletproof (BP) jackets and five live rounds.
