On August 20, the body of a person who was shot dead on August 19, was found in Charbagh District of Nangarhar Province, reports Hasht-e Subh. The person was shot in the forehead with a handgun. The identity of the victim remains unknown. This comes despite the Taliban’s claims of ensuring security, as reports of mysterious killings have increased significantly in various parts of the country.
