O August 4, Manipur Police arrested an active cadre of the Revolutionary People's Front/People's Liberation Army (RPF/PLA), identified as Thokchom Sanju Meitei alias Luwang (26), from Thangmeiband Khuyathong Polem Leikai in Imphal West District, Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. The arrested militant, was allegedly involved in planting grenades in the Imphal area. Security Forces (SFs) recovered two hand grenades from his possession. Further investigation is underway.
