Security Forces (SFs) killed two Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Bhutan Sharif area of Tirah Valley in Khyber District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on August 3, reports The Khyber Chronicles. The IBO was launched after security agencies received intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. During the operation, SFs surrounded the hideout of LI ‘commander’ Shaheen, leading to an intense exchange of fire with the terrorists. Two LI terrorists were killed during the firefight.
