On August 2, Manipur Police recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from Ekok Pat near the Arong river bank under Thoubal Police Station in Thoubal District, Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. The recoveries included two INSAS rifles, one MP-5 sub-machine gun, one Self-Loading Rifle (SLR), two .303 rifles, eight magazines, one smoke bomb, and 379 rounds of live ammunition of different calibres. No arrests were reported in connection with the recovery.
