On August 1, in an operation conducted in Mohammadpur's Boat Ghat area in Dhaka, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Hasan, 28, alias Magura Hasan, with a one-shooter firearm, reports The Daily Star. According to RAB, Hasan is accused in multiple criminal cases and had previously been arrested five times in different cases. Hasan is accused in at least eight cases, including those involving drugs, robbery, attempted murder, theft, and rioting, filed in Bhola's Lalmohan Police Station and Mohammadpur Police Station, the release added.
