On July 31, five Fitna-Al-Khwarij [FaK, a State term of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)] terrorists, and an Army major were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Razmak area in North Waziristan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports The Khyber Chronicles. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during an exchange of fire, Major Hafiz Ihsan Elahi (34), a resident of Mianwali District (Punjab), was killed. Security Forces (SFs) recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition from the eliminated terrorists as a sanitisation operation continues to clear the area.
