A mosque was damaged in a terrorist attack after explosives planted by terrorists detonated in the Lachi area of Kohat District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 28, reports The Khyber Chronicles. According to Police, terrorists had planted explosive material inside Masjid Abu Bakr (RA) in the village of Darmalak Harnato, within the jurisdiction of Lachi Police Station. The explosives detonated during the night, completely destroying two rooms of the mosque and causing extensive structural damage to the building. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported as the mosque was unoccupied at the time of the explosion.
