Security Forces (SFs) killed a highly wanted ‘commander’ of Fitna al-Khawarij [FaK, a State term for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)] during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Wanda Semo area of Lakki Marwat District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 27, reports The Khyber Chronicle. The operation was launched after intelligence indicated the presence of a group of terrorists in the area. As SFs personnel moved to surround the suspected hideout, the terrorists opened fire, prompting an intense exchange of gunfire. During the operation, the wanted FaK ‘commander’, identified as Hazifa Marwat, was killed.
