At least five terrorists were killed and several others sustained injuries during an armed confrontation between rival groups in the Kohi Kallay, Mamo Cheena, and Yakh Kando areas of Orakzai District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 27, reports The Khyber Chronicle. District Police Officer (DPO) Shaukat Ali stated that the exchange of fire involved groups led by Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) ‘commander’ Sadiq Yar Orakzai and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) ‘commander’ Sajid. Five terrorists, including TTP Kazim Group ‘commander’ Zulqarnain, were killed during the intense exchange of fire. Several other members of the rival groups were also reported injured, although the exact number of casualties remains under verification.
